Assessment and learning materials do not attract a 'leasing' or licencing fee - these are bought 'outright'.  You pay a one time only fee and can use the materials (within licencing terms) with as many students and as many times as you need to.

When you contextualise the resources or put them into your own system and/or templates, we ask that you maintain attribution to Training Tools.

Considerable time and effort goes into producing the IP linked to all our products.  If you are from an RTO, email us to request a sample and we'll send an example of our writing style.

Please note: Not all requests can be actioned, as for some products, a 'sample' would be the actual product for sale.

When you order compliance, learning and assessment products from Training Tools, we will send them to you as digital files via a download link or email.  Depending on the product, they will be PDF files, secured Word files and/or editable Word or Excel documents.

We are aware that large government organisations block some downloads and if this happens to you, we will simply email your items as attachments.

If you have purchased subscription to a SimBiz, you'll get a separate email with your RTO's login details.

All products available for digital download require a credit card payment to complete the transaction.  If you do not have a credit card, email us at products@trainingtools.com.au for an invoice to be sent for the products you wish to purchase.  

On receipt of invoice, you can transfer funds via direct deposit, and after confirmation of funds received, we will email your products to you.

Our website accepts secure online credit card payments. 

When you purchase resources for assessment, you will be buying the following:

• Assessor Marking Guide (with benchmark answers and instructions to the assessor; all tasks fully developed, including observation checklists)
• Student Assessment (with instructions to the student and developed to collect evidence against the unit of competency requirements)
• Mapping document (this is where you can see how the assessment tool has been developed to meet the unit requirements)
• Licence agreement

A validation statement will be provided with all full Training Tools assessment materials purchased (i.e. not Knowledge Banks, third-party verification reports).

Training Tools assessment resources can be contextualised if need be, noting the requirements of the Licence agreement.

Learning resources are separate to the assessment materials.

The assessment resources may indicate a suitable textbook for companion use if learning materials are unavailable.

When it comes to audit time, there are a number of variables that come into play, including the quality of the training delivered and how well the assessment tools meet the regulatory requirements.

An RTO's holistic performance, their Quality  and Assessment Systems (of which resources are but one component), are the factors that work toward compliance and "passing audit".

Like any vendor of off-the-shelf products, Training Tools understands the obligations of the RTO to contextualise materials to suit their specific learner cohorts.  We work to develop resources that give you the best possible head start.  Our resources are developed by education-qualified writers, and assessments go through an independent validation process.  We also offer the option of purchasing a subscription to a simulated business for selected qualifications to support delivery outside of the workplace.  

This means it is a whole lot easier for RTOs to be confident in their approach to meeting the needs of:

• The business
• Students
• National VET Regulator, ASQA
• Training Packages
• Industry and employers 

Not necessarily.

While our SimBiz Supported assessments have been written to aid students who don't have access to workplace documentation required for assessment, the benchmarks are fully developed.  This means an RTO could use the information in the assessment to create their own supporting materials.

Also, some of our assessments are SimBiz Supported as well as suitable for collecting workplace-based responses.  These dual purpose tools have been written with the option of using the SimBiz materials or those from the workplace.

Naturally, we recommend getting access to a SimBiz so that students can get a consistent understanding of the workplace context plus access to items that provide valuable learning.

Yes and No.

YES - Our learning materials have been written to provide students with the theory content required by a specific unit of competency.  In some cases, the Skills Text will also be available contextualised to a particular qualification.  For example, workplace health and safety applies across all workplaces and training packages.  Our WHS Learner Skills Text has been developed to suit BSBWHS211 unit evidence requirements, plus, to suit the work requirements of a business administration context.

NO - In some cases, we develop Learner Skills Texts to address a particular topic.  For example: 

• Introduction to learning
• Workplace learning
• Customer service skills

Topics may apply to various units of competency

Our tools are developed primarily for face-to-face or blended delivery models.  They are provided as 'paper-based' materials and any further development and/or contextualisation for an online delivery platform is the responsibility of the RTO.
